About Me

Hi, I'm so glad you found my corner of the internet ~ I'm Mikayla, the owner of The Beauty Parlor. I finished my schooling at Nova Academy of Cosmetology and got my license to become an Esthetician in 2019. I started my own business in 2020, I love what I do and love being able to put smiles on others' faces. What got my interest in becoming a skin professional was my own skin. I have struggled with acne and uneven skin tone for many years.  Being able to learn aesthetics skincare and helping others is what I love to do.  I grew up on a dairy farm outside of Goodhue, MN where I learned to get my hands dirty and wake up when the sun rises. I still love helping when I can and I enjoy being outdoors. My family and friends mean the world to me, more often than not you can find me laughing with them.
